What Is Enough For Him?

I think a difficult task for many believers, isn’t believing that God is good and worthy to be praised, but believing that we ourselves are good (through Christ) and worthy to be loved. The idea of a perfect God going out of His way to love and fellowship with us can be a hard truth to grasp. Its even harder to accept when the enemy comes at us with receipts of our dirty past. It leaves us questioning what we can offer God, when all we do is make mistakes and sometimes the same ones over again? What is enough for Him?

Live to Preserve Life (Part 1)

captureThis may sound redundant but life is full of surprises, some are good, some bad, but nevertheless, we can never truly prepare for what life can throw at us. To make matters worse, often at times, the “why” of the trials we face are out of reach. This complete lack of control can leave us feeling unsettled and even fearful. But if there’s anyone in history who had a life full of curve-balls, yet managed to remain hopeful, it’s Joseph. When you read the story of Joseph, in hind sight, he was truly a man favored of the Lord. Yes, in hind sight you can see how everything that happened to him was a part of God’s meticulous plan. But its easy to be on the outside looking in, so as we follow the timeline of Joseph’s life, Continue reading

Romans 8: 10-11 This part of the chapter involves a woman who was caught in adultery and going to be stoned by the hands of her accusers. Jesus describes the guilt she currently faced as “condemnation”. As her accusers discussed her guilt, they were essentially throwing condemnation at her. John 6- God of Provision

John 3:36 Where God Abides

The word says that he who believes in the Son, has everlasting life. He who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. This verse shows that the wrath of God abides ON those who do not believe. This is in contrast to Continue reading

John 2: 1-12 Water Turned to Wine

This chapter is quite significant, as it is where we witness Christ’s first miracle! Yes Jesus turns water into wine. He not only does the impossible, but His impossible tastes good. It tastes better than the best man-made wine (John 2:10). Continue reading
